Starting August 1st, AirAsia will operate direct flights between Cebu and Kaoshiung flying three times weekly every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

Passengers on the route will be flown on-board the 180-seat Airbus A320-200 aircraft, the only type on its fleet.

According to Routesonline, Z2-7134 will depart Cebu at 11:25am and will arrive in Kaohsiung at 1:50pm. The return flight, Z2-7135, will depart Kaohsiung at 2:15pm and will arrive back to the origin airport at 4:40pm.

In addition, a fourth-weekly flight will be added for the current Cebu-Kuala Lumpur route starting August 2.

This further positions the Mactan-Cebu International Airport to be the best and most connected transit hub in the Philippines.

In October last year, AirAsia inaugurated the Manila-Kaohsiung route also flying three times weekly. It also operates every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday.

Aside from Kaohsiung, passengers may also book its flights to Taipei Taoyuan from Manila, Cebu, and Clark flying twice daily, once daily, and four times weekly, respectively.
