Cebu Pacific outlines initial A320neo operations

Aviation Updates Philippines – The Philippines' largest low-cost carrier, Cebu Pacific Air, plans to deploy their newest aircraft, the Airbus A320neo, on their Cebu hub starting this month.
THE NEW AIRBUS NEO. The brand-new fleet of Airbus A320neo, Airbus A321neo, and Airbus A330neo fleet will soon replace Cebu Pacific's older Airbus aircraft.
In an article published by Routesonline, it reveals Cebu Pacific will be basing their A320neo fleet at the Mactan-Cebu International Airport in order to be deployed to their longer routes to maximize fuel savings brought by the aircraft's high fuel efficiency.

Starting July 27, the low-cost airline is placing the A320neo on the Cebu-Tokyo Narita sector, while starting July 28, the same aircraft will be deployed on the Cebu-Singapore route.

In addition, as more of the aircraft type arrive within the year, Cebu Pacific will also replace the A320ceo for the A320neo on their Cebu-Hong Kong and Cebu-Seoul Incheon route starting August 21—both flying daily.

Just this week, Cebu Pacific's second Airbus A320neo, RP-C3281 MSN 9061, flew to Manila from Toulouse via Muscat. Three more of the same aircraft are expected to arrive this year.

Cebu Pacific operates an extensively active fleet of one ATR 72-500, 13 ATR 72-600, 33 Airbus A320-200, 2 Airbus A320neo, 7 Airbus A321-200, 2 Airbus A321neo, and 8 Airbus A330-300 aircraft—making CEB one of the largest airlines in Asia.
