According to the latest timetable released by the flag carrier, PAL Express, effective December 15, will launch twice daily flights between Cebu and Zamboanga on-board the Q400 propjet. Currently, Cebgo monopolizes the market with 8 weekly flights.

On the same day, the airline will also reintroduce flights between Cebu and Dipolog four times weekly scheduled every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday.

Starting December, Cebu-Busuanga (one daily flight), Cebu-Butuan (four weekly flights), Cebu-Legazpi (three weekly flights), and Cebu to Tacloban (three weekly flights) routes will receive varied frequency increase amidst the Christmas season rush.

Meanwhile, PAL Express is also set to revive its Davao-Iloilo services with daily flights starting January 1, 2020. The airline once served the Davao-Iloilo route from March 22, 2012 until its cancellation on June 1, 2013.

For PAL Express' Davao hub, the Davao-Siargao and the Davao-Tagbilaran route will both see a frequency increase from 7 times weekly to 11 times weekly on January 1.

All these flights are currently not yet open for reservations.

Mainline flights by Philippine Airlines show no significant changes in flight schedules and frequencies during the whole domestic winter schedule. However, changes may be made from time to time depending on the airline.
