Aviation Updates Philippines – As a gesture of appreciation to our gallant medical frontline personnel in time for the 122nd Independence Day, Philippines AirAsia will be offering free tickets to any AirAsia domestic destination in the Philippines.

“We would like to express our gratitude to our healthcare professionals who selflessly serve the country. We wish to help our frontliners return to their loved ones swiftly and safely with the easing of community quarantine restrictions in the country,” Philippines AirAsia Chief Executive Officer Ricky Isla said.

Eligible for the free flights to any AirAsia domestic destination are doctors, nurses, medical technologists, radio technologists, hospital pharmacists, and hospital orderlies. According to AirAsia, tickets may now be booked via a dedicated online form on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to seat availability.

Redemption period is from June 16 to July 16, 2020 for travel from June 23 to August 23, 2020. A maximum of one round-trip ticket will be offered per person. Guests are expected to receive verification e-mails from AirAsia to validate the ticket.

Eligible medical professionals must email back photos of their valid hospital ID, Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) license, and certified proof of attendance during the community quarantine period. Hospital orderlies must email photos of their valid hospital ID, Certificate of Employment, and proof of attendance during the community quarantine period.

The flight ticket will be inclusive of all mandatory charges, including value added tax, fuel surcharges, administrative fees, but exclusive of Domestic Passenger Service Charge and Aviation Security Fee (ASF) when applicable.
