Cebu Pacific set to restart more international flights

Aviation Updates Philippines – As reported by Routesonline, Low-cost carrier Cebu Pacific Air plans to restart more international flights from Manila in August 2020, based on OAG schedule listings (July 19, 2020).

Although Cebu Pacific has not opened reservations, the airline has already filed for these flights. The additional international flights are expected to be up and available for bookings within the next few days; however, changes are still highly possible.

Cebu Pacific plans to welcome August with a possible resumption of services to Tokyo-Narita, Singapore, and Shanghai Pudong from Manila on August 1. For the rest of August, the airline also intends to resume flights to Nagoya (August 2), Taipei Taoyuan (August 5), Seoul Incheon (August 6), and Osaka Kansai (August 7).

Flights to Singapore, Taipei, and Tokyo would fly twice weekly on-board the Airbus A321neo aircraft, while the rest would operate once-weekly on-board the Airbus A330-300 aircraft. The international resumption for Cebu Pacific remains modest, much like Philippines AirAsia.

These new flights are atop the existing flight between Manila to Dubai. Last week, Cebu Pacific announced the immediate resumption of flights to Dubai on-board the Airbus A330-300 aircraft once-weekly.

Dubai-bound passengers are required to obtain travel and health insurance coverage before arrival, as required by the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority. Guests without valid health insurance would be denied check-in or boarding.
